Check Domain Availability

You can check domain availability using these commands (or corresponding command from context menu):

When you lookup a domain, it's added to the lookup queue. Domains from the queue are auto-checked one by one in two passes. When domain is queried for the first time, this is called the first pass. During the first pass, basic domain information is retrieved from Registry WHOIS/web server. This domain information is represented in Availability, Status columns and Domain InfoBar.

When the domain is queried for the second time, this is called the second pass. The second pass is used for retrieving detailed domain information. This information can be found in Domain InfoBar window.

Sometimes, you may want to stop the querying process. To do it, use the following commands:

When all domains' querying completes, you will need to understand the results. Read about it in Understanding results of querying topic.
